Our expectation is that we will give community and social support in tangible ways that will directly contribute and positively impact the lives of people across the globe. Our purpose is solely focused on social, environmental or community achievement and advancement. We are extremely proud of our initiatives and investment in time and resources towards these objectives.
Our commitment is demonstrated in the following ways:
The AppsCares initiative was developed to encourage and promote tangible and measurable giving in areas of need or social consciousness. Recent contributions have been made in support of the following organizations: American Red Cross Disaster Fund (Japan tsunami, US tornado victims), Susan G Komen For The Cure, Make A Wish Foundation and 2011 commitments to Global Hunger Project, Dana Farber / Children’s Hospital Cancer Center.
Active group and individual contribution of time or effort is encouraged. We will also further develop and formalize these employee-based programs. Examples include Apps Associates group participation at local blood drives or volunteer contributions to help disaster victims.
Our goal is to further integrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility into our company culture and across customer, employee and marketing programs such as recycle for environmental sustainability and charity-focused conference and tradeshow promotions.
