Oracle E-Business Suite Release12 has now been in the market for quite some time. However, there are many questions on the architecture and features, and what makes it different from 11i. This session will present the latest R12 technology stack changes and how it relates to Fusion middleware, 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 application servers. We will discuss features such as: instance specific top, isolate appl_top and common_top from configuration changes, different servers/services, shared application tier file systems, managing the log files and other database objects, as well as integrating E-Business Suite with various other middleware technologies like 11g discoverer and OID/SSO.
