How to Go Next Level at the Salesforce World Tour, New York

What has always struck me about the Salesforce World Tour gatherings is the energy in the room. It is a one-day, jam packed event meant to get all your Salesforce mojo in gear for the rest of the year. In order to get the most out of the event, I have some tips for you that will help you be a Salesforce Trailblazer.

Salesforce World Tour NYC 2019

Plan ahead

Get their app. Their event app is awesome. You can plan ahead the sessions that you want attend and during the event, you will be kept on schedule with reminders and the app updates throughout the event, if sessions change.

Be practical

Being a local, my recommendation is to plan accordingly. Whether you are taking the subway, Uber/Lyft or a taxi; traffic around the Javits Center in the morning can be quite hectic. Once you finally arrive at the World Tour, SF has made the check-in process very efficient. The day kicks off with so many amazing sessions to attend and they aren’t always located in the same floor. Dress comfortably so you can move from session to session without your feet hurting because I don’t’ remember seeing any massage kiosks along the way, but you never know! After a long day, you should treat yourself to one of the many, great restaurants, bars, etc. around Hudson Yards. This area is really transforming, so if you want great recommendations, just stop by and ask!

Network

This is the perfect opportunity to meet with fellow Salesforce users, partners and build your network. There is a wealth of knowledge available to you at this event. Take advantage of it.

Be prepared to be amazed

(Shameless plug warning.) Your time at the Salesforce Tour in New York wouldn’t be complete without visiting us in the Customer Success Expo at booth #111. We believe the slickest technology isn’t worth much if it isn’t built for your business. We’re Sales Cloud and Service Cloud architects and Developers and process integration enthusiasts who put your business first. We can help you with:

  • Supporting all clouds within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Salesforce Health Assessment and Lightning Readiness Assessment
  • Salesforce CPQ Implementations
  • Scalable Integration Solutions
  • End-to-end, multi-platform solutions
  • Salesforce and Oracle ERP integration

Check out how we helped Taconic Biosciences reverse this trend when they engaged Apps Associates to fully integrate their Salesforce and Oracle EBS platforms to deliver a clear view of their entire customer lifecycle.

Most importantly, I want to personally talk to you about what your business needs to thrive and how I can help you achieve that goal. There is a lot of #PowerInTheCloud with Salesforce and I can’t wait to share it with you.
