Boston, MA – October 20, 2022 – Apps Associates, a premier enterprise application advisory services leader, announced today the completion of its Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 Type 2 examination for Remote Database Administration and Hosted Managed Services, demonstrating its commitment to security controls and industry excellence.
The examination is for the review period of October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022, and was performed by the independent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm, Schellman & Company, LLC. The controls addressed in a SOC 1 examination are those that Apps Associates implements to prevent, or detect and correct, errors or omissions in the information it provides to customers and partners.
By engaging an independent CPA to examine and report on their controls, Apps Associates can respond to meet the needs of its stakeholders and have an objective evaluation of the effectiveness of controls that address operations and compliance.
