This Life Sciences Company based Massachusetts is providing life changing treatments for people fighting crushing diseases. They had an in-house third party system and knew it was time to make the move to HCM and Benefits Cloud.

Overview of Engagement

Our customer was experiencing rapid growth, had a maturing business model and knew that they needed a state of the art platform to support key business functions such as strategic workforce planning, benefits and payroll management. They were unable to manage data associated with a growing number of employees and they were reaching limits and restrictions with their third party HR services provider.  They knew it was time to make the move.

Customer Challenges

Our customer’s emerging employee population led them to the selection of Oracle HCM and Benefits Cloud. They selected Apps Associates to implement their new state of the art system to help them scale for growth and integrate with third party systems.

Customer Objectives

Apps Associates worked with the customer to deploy Oracle HCM Cloud and Benefits Cloud using an agile implementation strategy and approach. This included the development of a seamless integration between Oracle Benefits Cloud and all other third party applications including insurance carriers, payroll provider(s) and other vendors. In addition Apps ensured data conversion to Oracle HCM Cloud for key data elements, and seamless integration between Oracle HCM Cloud and their payroll provider to transmit new hires, changes and resignations and terminations.

Customer Results

The customer is now able to conduct intelligent reporting that promotes strong decision making and analysis utilizing their complete HCM and Benefits Cloud solution. They have improved overall user experience with self-service, improved workflows, and automated approval processes. In addition they have an effective vehicle to implement company accruals and absence policies as well as integrations with external providers.
